Responsibilities
Oversee the project operations for the development and launch of a new application workflow system to streamline the new business process.
Act as a subject matter expert for multi-life new business and provides business requirements.
Interact with other subject matter experts (underwriting, compliance, legal, product) in gathering complex requirements.
Ensure the developers meet the requirements and specifications outlined by the subject matter experts in life new business and underwriting.
Test and provided feedback for product releases.
Prioritize content releases based on relevance, time savings, and quality improvement.
Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and systems for the enrollment through payment cycle.
Attends meetings to represent Life New Business perspective and keep team up to date on product and technology changes.
Understands the escalation process and management’s role in the process.
Maintains knowledge of all individual life products, illustrations, systems, regulatory issues and department standards and goals.
Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of administrative systems and all appropriate capabilities.
Provide expertise, advice, counsel, recommendations, and opinions.
Facilitate the knowledge transfer and train the team on the new workflow system for multi-life policies.
Ongoing enhancements in system and daily processes.
Knowledge of accounting system workflow for premium payments.
Act as liaison for new business vendor relationship.
Ensure reporting capabilities for internal (metrics) and external customers.

Required
5+ years of Multi-life New Business experience.
Product knowledge
Solid understanding of life insurance business with a strong focus on multi-life new business.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Extensive knowledge of new business systems, processing, products and field distribution systems.
Expertise in system functionality, with experience in testing and troubleshooting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strategic thinker with the ability to articulate and drive a clear vision to team members.
Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills in small and large groups.
Ability to empower, self-motivate and seek continuous process improvements.
Ability to seek process improvements and embraces change willingly.
Ability to work with others in a cross functional collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of Penn Mutual permanent products, processes and transactions a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
LOMA or industry courses or certifications
FINRA license
Experience with illustration systems and Cyberlife
