Responsibilities
Gather earnings data and recoupable expenses from various sources and process same in our state-of-the-art royalty system
Set up labels, contracts, products and payees in our royalty system
Process quarterly and semi-annual royalty statements
Prepare reports and breakdowns in Excel
Communicate via email and by phone with clients and vendors

Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
College degree
At least 3 years of music royalty accounting experience, ideally from a label or a 3rd party royalty services company, is required
Excel must be your friend and you should be comfortable with Pivot Tables and VLookup formulas
Ability to work remotely in an environment where our data is securely kept and stored (we use Dropbox)
Eagerness to take initiative and complete projects timely is a must
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your projects is necessary and appreciated
Preferred
Experience with RoyaltyShare, RecordMaestro, or other music royalty software products is a plus
Passion for music and entertainment is important
