Responsibilities
Story Development: Create and oversee the narrative vision, ensuring it aligns with the game’s overall design and player experience.
Team Leadership: Mentor a team of writers and narrative designers, fostering creativity while meeting project deadlines.
Collaboration: Work closely with design, art, and audio teams to integrate narrative seamlessly into gameplay, creating a unified and compelling experience.
Iteration: Analyze feedback, iterate on narrative content, and adjust the storyline to maintain engagement and alignment with the project’s goals.
Character and World Building: Guide the creation of rich, multi-dimensional characters and expansive game worlds that invite exploration and emotional investment.
Dialogue Direction: Ensure authentic, impactful dialogue that reflects the personalities of characters and deepens the player’s emotional connection to the game.

Required
5+ years in narrative design or direction within the gaming industry, with AAA titles preferred.
A deep understanding of how narrative and gameplay mechanics can work together to elevate the player’s experience.
Experience leading creative teams and the ability to inspire, manage, and mentor others.
Proficiency with narrative design tools and game engines, particularly Unreal Engine 5.
A body of work that demonstrates your ability to create compelling narratives in games, film, or other entertainment mediums.
Preferred
A track record of creating emotional, character-driven narratives in successful gaming franchises.
Deep passion for gaming across multiple genres, with a strong understanding of player motivations and narrative engagement.
Familiarity with interactive storytelling techniques and an ability to push the boundaries of conventional narrative design.
