Responsibilities
Identifying leads, prospect to quote the customer, schedule call/video meeting or in-person meeting to sell Buchanan Logistics solutions on all modes of transportation, track and close the business.
Close collaboration with Account Manager/Site Director to generate the quotation.
Once an order is received, proper hand-off of the customer to the Account Manager/Site Director to have additional correspondence about additional contracted freight opportunities.
Prospect activities must be completed each day. Activities can include email, phone calls, video meeting (Microsoft Teams), in-person meeting, etc.
Goal of 1 new customers/month
Maintains a culture of day-to-day diligent “hunting” mentality approach for new business lead generation.
Keep CRM updated.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
5+ years trucking experience required.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
Skilled in customer service and client retention strategies.
Proficiency in using CRM software, sales automation tools, and other relevant technologies.
