Responsibilities

Identify Opportunities: Research and target prospective dealer groups, using market insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic outreach to build a robust pipeline of high-potential leads.
Create Interest: Develop and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to each prospect’s unique needs, showcasing Safe-Guard’s solutions as drivers of business growth and customer satisfaction.
Close Deals: Lead end-to-end sales processes, including discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and finalizing agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Collaborate with the Client Services team to provide insights into account specific mission, goals, and agreements, ensuring alignment between Safe-Guard and the client.
Strategic Prospecting: Utilize advanced tools and techniques, including CRM systems, industry events, and networking opportunities, to engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Drive Revenue: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by closing new business opportunities and maximizing the value of each client engagement.
Collaborate with Teams: Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product Development, to design and deliver customized solutions that meet prospect needs.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and sales activities in the company CRM, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Stay Informed: Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Leverage knowledge of dealer groups and their challenges to position Safe-Guard’s offerings effectively.
Provide regular updates to leadership on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key metrics, including win/loss analyses and forecasts.

Required

Minimum of 5 years in a business development or sales role, with a focus on enterprise-level or national account clients.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a hunting-oriented sales environment.
Five years of Automotive industry experience
Three years of retail F&I experience
Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities with large, complex organizations.
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage senior-level stakeholders effectively.
Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) and data analysis to track and optimize performance.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with prospective clients and attend industry events.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
Familiarity with the automotive, vehicle retail, or finance & insurance industries is highly desirable.
