Responsibilities

Proofreading all materials produced and published for external communications.
Ensuring all content is error-free, accessible, and understandable by various audiences.
Reviewing work prior to submitting for approval and publishing across all communications channels.
Producing work in a timely fashion and in finished quality for daily communications products.
Providing the ability to interpret customer requirements, identify the most efficient presentation of communications products, and develop concepts that communicate information consistent with NCIS style guidelines.
Collaborating closely and independently with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
Providing a response to customers within one business day of contact.
Reviewing requirements and seeking clarification of any requirements in a timely fashion.
Designing and producing engaging visuals, including images, graphics, and short videos, tailored for various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
Developing multimedia content calendars in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, ensuring alignment with content themes, campaigns, and audience preferences.
Creating animated GIFs, cinemographs, and other dynamic content formats to enhance social media posts and stories.
Adapting multimedia content for campaigns on social media platforms, optimizing for maximum reach and engagement.
Designing and developing multimedia elements for the company website, including homepage sliders, banners, interactive infographics, and product/service videos.
Collaborating with the Web Development Team to integrate multimedia content seamlessly into website layouts and user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
Conducting regular audits of website multimedia assets to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement, such as improving load times or mobile responsiveness.
Implementing multimedia content management systems or plugins to streamline the publishing and management of website multimedia assets.
Ensuring consistency and coherence in multimedia branding across social media platforms, website, and other digital channels.
Integrating multimedia content strategies with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns, leveraging synergies between social media and website channels to maximize impact and reach.
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics for multimedia content on social media and website platforms, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Cross domain file transfer/information sharing (metadata, tagging)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content Development, and UX/UI Design, to align multimedia content strategies with overall business objectives and user experience goals.
Produce concepts, script, storyboard, schedule, and deadlines for select forms of media projects.
Produce short segments designed for social media using video content and stock footage to support larger agency initiatives.
Actively partake in pre-production, production, and post-production (editing) on assigned video projects that support social media and website.
Record and edit video and sound projects
Select program format for final output.
Capture/import media, organize raw media, edit footage and sound files.
Create and insert static and motion graphics.
Add music/voice-over, media management, and archive project media.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design, multimedia content creation, or communications strategy.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Experience in developing multimedia content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and websites.
Strong understanding of multimedia branding, design principles, and user experience.
Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop concepts consistent with style guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Experience in proofreading and ensuring error-free content for various audiences.
Capability to produce high-quality work in a timely manner for daily communications products.

Preferred

Experience in creating animated GIFs, cinemographs, and other dynamic content formats.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Familiarity with cross-domain file transfer and information sharing (metadata, tagging).
Experience in monitoring and analyzing performance metrics for multimedia content.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content Development, UX/UI Design).
Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
Certifications in web design, graphic design, or multimedia content creation.
Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and video production.
Knowledge of sound editing and music production.
Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
