Responsibilities

Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network

Direct system installation, upgrade, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Configure routers, switches, and firewalls. Cisco SD-WAN

Define, document, and enforce system standards by maintaining Visio drawings and documentation of a complex network.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages

Schedule updates and upgrades

Collaborate with network architects and vendors to optimize system performance

Engage in data network fault investigations. Working with vendors and service providers.

Report network operation status based on project management and priority information

Required

Bachelor’s degree in network administration, information technology, or computer science and at least +4 years of relevant experience or equivalency (Associate’s in network administration, information technology, or computer science and +8 years of relevant experience, High School Diploma and +12 years of relevant experience).

Experience with Aruba Wireless, Cisco Routing protocols including BGP, Trunking, SAN, DHCP, VoIP, Network Security, WAN /SD-WAN monitoring and optimization.

Retain familiarity with various network types including LANs, WANs, WLANs, SANs, and VoIP networks.

On-call support outside of regular working hours as well as occasional nights and weekends in the office.

Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to perform well under pressure.

Have high attention to detail.

Be a confident communicator.

Work well independently and in team settings.

Preferred

Additional certifications preferred, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) equivalent.
