Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures for data centers, including LAN, WAN, and cloud integration.

Create detailed network diagrams, schematics, and documentation for new and existing network environments.

Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure best practices and compliance.

Lead the deployment of network solutions, including hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems with other IT infrastructure components.

Ensure seamless network connectivity and performance for all data center operations.

Design and implement robust network security solutions using Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.

Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Conduct root cause analysis of network failures and implement corrective actions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Prepare and present network performance and security reports to management and stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technologies.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on data centers.

Extensive experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls and security solutions.

Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization.

Expertise in network security principles and practices, including threat prevention and mitigation.

Preferred

Relevant industry certifications, such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly desirable.
