Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and provide advanced support for multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks.

Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot multivendor network and security equipment and solutions.

Document complex network and security systems and procedures for implementation and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with SMEs, customers, and users to understand network requirements based on strategic goals and operational needs.

Plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.

Resolve interoperability issues across platforms and support hardware acquisition.

Utilize expertise in security, routing, and switching protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs.

Travel 25% of the time CONUS.

Obtain a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire.

Required

7+ years of experience with designing, deploying, and advanced support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks

5+ years of experience with deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security equipment and solutions, including Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, or VMware

5+ years of experience with documenting complex network and security systems and procedures to implement and troubleshoot the systems

Experience with secret classified networks

Knowledge of security, routing, and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs

Ability to travel 25% of the time CONUS

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Ability to obtain a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire
