Responsibilities
Configure and maintain internal corporate routers, firewalls, switches, and 802.11 Wireless Access Points.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network security appliances, including Cisco ISE, DNA, FirePower, and SRX appliances.
Work in IP networking environments with a strong emphasis on routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
Operate in Linux/Unix environments, ensuring system integrity and performance.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting network-related issues.
Collaborate with local ISPs to resolve WAN issues promptly and effectively.
Troubleshoot advanced LAN and WAN issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Monitor and report issues related to the internal network, maintaining high availability and performance.
Provide remote network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for remote office locations.
Ensure robust network security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
5+ years in IT, with 2 years in a Network Engineering role
Experience with mid to large Network Engineering deployments
Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
Configuring and troubleshooting networking devices from various vendors
Designing, deploying, and maintaining Enterprise Wireless Networks
Integrating Network Authentication into an Active Directory/SAML architecture
CCNA or equivalent networking certification
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Genuine dedication to the role and a proactive approach to responsibilities
High level of integrity and accountability in all tasks
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude and a focus on team success
Preferred
8+ years in IT
Experience with Firepower Management Center, Cisco FirePower
Knowledge of Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, BGP, VoIP
Familiarity with interpreted programming languages and/or shell scripting (Python, Perl, Bash)
CCNP or equivalent certification
Passion for technology and innovation
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Self-motivated with a drive for achieving results
