Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and VPN networks.

Monitor network performance to ensure reliability, security, and optimal uptime.

Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.

Collaborate with the IT team to integrate new technologies into the existing infrastructure.

Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.

Create and update network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.

Conduct regular system upgrades and patches to ensure compliance and stability.

Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in network design, deployment, and management.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.

Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.

Proficiency in troubleshooting tools and methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience with SD-WAN technologies.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
