Responsibilities
Network design and troubleshooting
Switch, router, and firewall setup and configuration
Managing and monitoring network availability and performance including fault tolerance
CMMC/NIST 800-171 security standards and compliance
Server (Windows & Linux) setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Hardware/software/security updates/upgrades to ensure compliance requirements are met
Provide timely user support
Documentation of network procedures, equipment, layout, and change management

Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT-related degree
Strong understanding of networking concepts and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
Proficiency in routers, managed switches, firewalls, remote access, and VPNs
Experience with specialized test equipment and network analysis tools
Hardware/software/firmware installation and maintenance experience
Strong communication skills
U.S. Citizenship
Preferred
Linux System Maintenance
SVN, GIT and Maven administration
AWS Administration
Windows Servers, Desktops, and Applications including Virtual Machines
Microsoft 365 (InTune, Entra/Azure, Exchange, Defender for EndPoint, SharePoint, Office 365)
Network and Security certifications
