Responsibilities

Maintaining networks including Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and Palo Alto), VPNs (Cisco and Fortigate), routers (Cisco), switches (Cisco and Arista) and other physical hardware

Installing and configuring network equipment.

Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management.

Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.

Participate in on-call duties during weekends at least once a month or as required to ensure network integrity.

Required

7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer

Extensive proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting advanced network equipment and protocols.

Proven hands-on experience in designing, deploying and managing network infrastructure within the AWS Cloud Environment.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to function effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Demonstrated motivation and proactive approach in problem-solving and network management.

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, ensuring the continuous performance of a high-speed financial network.
