Responsibilities
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing network systems and develop strategies for improvement.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain networking devices such as routers, firewalls, switches, and SDWAN appliances.
Manage and maintain Voice over IP systems and technologies including call trees, hunt groups, voicemail systems, etc.
Interface with and manage relationships with telecommunication vendors.
Responsible for the complete life cycle of data and voice circuits from ordering through disconnect.
Update and maintain system documentation.
Provide support to internal end users, application development staff, and Level 2 support to the Service Desk.

Required
At least 3-5 years' experience as a network engineer.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to adapt instructions and guidance to the skill level of the end user
Strong familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP and other networking protocols in general, subnetting, routing, network connectivity, VoIP
Strong familiarity with telcom vendors, technologies, circuit delivery methods, on-premise telecom equipment, etc.
Strong familiarity with SDWAN and firewall concepts, management and troubleshooting, specifically Fortinet Fortigate appliances.
Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems and projects.
Available to travel up to 25%
Hybrid work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the Atlanta office; Monday & Friday work from home.
Preferred
Familiarity with Aruba Wireless AP’s, ClearPass authentication, RingCentral Hosted VoIP a plus
