Responsibilities

Configure routing protocols and network devices

Provide network information and configure ports

Support migration projects

Create end-to-end plans for LANs/WANs

Coordinate network modifications with other IT departments

Perform fault isolation and resolution

Assist with life-cycle management evaluations

Design and operate networks using routing protocols

Install, configure, and maintain Cisco switches

Utilize network management applications and protocols

Provide change control support after hours or weekends

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related with more than 5+ years' experience

5+ years of Network Engineering experience

Cisco experience

Juniper experience

DMVPN

Experience developing Concepts of Operation, Requirements, Basis of Design, and critical design documents and drawings

Ability to perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical, thorough manner

Experience designing and operating networks using routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, route leaking, route redistribution, route-maps etc.

Wan technologies, mpls, DMVPN, vrf etc.

Experience installing, configuring and maintaining cisco switches Catalyst 9000 Series and Nexus, stack wise, protocols like STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, R-PVST, PVST. VPC

Experience with network management applications and related protocols such as SNMP and NetFlow, SolarWinds, Net Brain, Wireshark

Support for change control after hours or/and over the weekend

This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future
