Responsibilities

Work with Operational Risk Management (ORM) in a T&E environment.
Communicate with high-level principals with the Program Office and stakeholders.
Host and lead a weekly Individual Transition Plan (IPT) meeting.
Maintain the project’s Kanban and conduct regular briefings for project personnel.
Implement security measures to protect system data and prevent unauthorized access.
Collaborate with vendors and support system integration.
Document system configurations and procedures.
Provide technical support and training to other teams.
Support sea trials and vessels maintenance/updates.
Supervise and upkeep laptops, servers, switches, and other computer systems.
Establish backup procedures and tools for the team.
Work with vendors on new software and hardware incorporation.
Expected travel up to 35%.

Required

Must possess an active Secret clearance.
DoD recognized System Administrator and/or Network Engineering Professional Certification, i.e., Network+, Linux+, CCNA, CNP, et. al. required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related degree from an accredited college/university and eight to ten years of related experience.
Proven experience as a Network Project Engineer or relevant position.
Experience configuring and managing Cisco switches.
Experience writing scripts and tools for automation.
Experience performing system updates and patches.
Experience troubleshooting system issues and resolving technical problems.
Experience managing user accounts and permissions.
Experience creating and maintaining system backups.
Proficient in Linux command line, scripting, etc.
Proficient with Virtual Machine and Distributed computing; networking to enable those operations.
Critical Thinker: ability to solve problems/issues; ability to lead others in teaming environment.
Expected travel up to 35%.
