Responsibilities

Design and develop new solutions and tools using open data plane hardwares for building highly scalable route/forwarding control system.

Collaborate closely with network engineering and operation teams to define, build, and operationalize solutions.

Utilize expertise in large scale distributed systems, fault-tolerant systems, operating systems, and high performance analytics to innovate for massive scale solutions.

Possess foundational network technology knowledge and work on hyperscale Backbone networking.

Work on defining the WAN software platform and contribute to continual improvement of key operational metrics.

Required

8+ years of experience in engineering.

Big data pipeline experience(Kafka, Spark)

Proficient with programming languages such as Clojure/Go/Java/Python with sophisticated proficiency in at least one language

Strong software engineering background with experience with building/maintaining RESTful APIs

Strong familiarity with the Networking protocols (BGP, MPLS)

Expertise in network monitoring protocols (Netflow, SNMP etc)

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
