Responsibilities
Project Management: Supervise comprehensive launch plans for North American new product launches for all platforms and product lines. Track part set up, sourcing and expediting to ensure NPL KPI’s are met within the designated timeline for launch. Validate and ensure accuracy of parts lists and part classifications and/or model lists from Parts Lifecycle. Add new launches to NPL Dashboard or Parts Dashboard for OKTS readiness tracking and build PowerPoint slides to share status updates in all North American platform program meetings regularly. Prepare documentation for top management launch review meetings and participate in those meetings as the Service Parts representative.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the Service Parts main point of contact for all collaborators involved in the product launch. Facilitate communication and collaboration between multiple departments such as Platform engineering, Parts Lifecycle, Planning, Expediting and Service Purchasing to ensure smooth execution of the launch strategy. Keep other NPL coordinators in EU, LAR and APAC advised of launch timing for their regions.
Mitigation Analysis: Consider all solutions for mitigation to close the gap in reaching full OKTS KPI’s (90% new parts, 100% ISL & CFL parts, 100% critical DIA’s) when applicable. This may include but is not limited to checking upper assembly options and availability, reviewing sub chains for the best availability, confirming similar parts with Parts Lifecycle and escalating risks to the appropriate teams. Attend platform launch risk review meetings and communicate parts at risk and risk level if vital.
Launch Execution: Ensure all activities take place in accordance with the timeline given for each launch. Complete the Global Product Development Ok to Ship milestone document and seek management approval.
KPI’s: GPD OKTS given on time, 100% CFL, 100% ISL, 90% new parts targets met including mitigation if applicable for all GPD launches. Must receive positive NPS (Net Promoter Score) from North American platforms.
