Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, logistics, budgeting, and staffing of NFTY's flagship event (The Collab), focused on teen leadership and community building.
Facilitate planning for NFTY and URJ Camp events, during the school year, engaging regional NFTY teen boards and adult regional mentors while providing resources for effective execution.
Develop strategies to enhance teen participation in national and regional events and create innovative programs that resonate with NFTY's mission.
Execute NFTY's social media strategy, creating engaging content to showcase programs and foster an active online community.
Act as the primary liaison to the NFTY North American Board (NAB), mentoring teen leaders and facilitating board meetings.
Guide regional boards in leadership and collaboration with local congregations, ensuring program consistency and quality.
Supervise three regional mentors, supporting community building and alignment with NFTY's goals.
Oversee NFTY NAB election process.
Partner with URJ teams to integrate NFTY with justice initiatives, camps, and low-barrier-to-entry experiences.
Ensure NFTY’s messaging and branding are accurate and meaningful across the URJ.
Support the incorporation of justice initiatives, camp programs, and youth wellness into NFTY activities. Support URJ org-wide priorities.

Required
Expertise in developing and implementing strategies to recruit and engage teens, ensuring programs align with their interests and values.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with teens, stakeholders, and regional boards.
Capacity to mentor teen leaders and regional mentors, fostering leadership development and community building.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with teens and adult leaders.
Strong organizational skills to design and execute large-scale events, including budgeting and logistics management.
Ability to analyze and assess programming effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
Proven experience managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and enhancing online community engagement.
Strong ability to assess priorities and manage time effectively to meet goals while ensuring personal well-being.
Competence in establishing SMARTIE goals aligned with organizational objectives.
Skill in articulating needs and challenges clearly to foster a transparent and collaborative environment.
Commitment to maintaining respectful communication and timely responses to colleagues and stakeholders.
Initiative in regularly accessing organizational updates and essential information to stay informed and effective.
High-level of emotional intelligence.
