Responsibilities
Implement the sales strategy and plan outlined by the CEO and Director of Sales to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Build and nurture long-lasting partnerships with independent retailers through regular in-person visits and ongoing communication.
Actively seek out and secure new retail partnerships in metropolitan areas, using a proactive and confident approach to introduce our brand to potential customers.
Develop a deep understanding of our Danish housewares, kitchen and furniture product lines to effectively communicate their unique design and quality attributes to retail partners.
Travel 25-50% of the time to meet with clients in major metropolitan hubs, conduct store visits, and attend industry events.
Represent the company at major trade shows to showcase our brand, network with potential clients, and secure new business opportunities.
Leverage digital tools such as HubSpot, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other platforms to manage sales activities, track performance, and collaborate effectively.
Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and provide detailed reports and insights to the Director of Sales.
Partner with marketing, operations, and sales team to ensure the alignment of customer needs with business goals.
Equip retail partners with the knowledge and tools to effectively merchandise and sell our products.

Required
Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in housewares, furniture, fashion, lifestyle, or any consumer goods industry, with a proven track record in both new business development and account management.
Familiarity with the independent retail landscape and buying patterns.
Demonstrated ability to excel in both acquiring new clients and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
Comfortable walking into a retailer’s store, building rapport, and maintaining relationships through routine visits and exceptional service.
A strong appreciation for high-quality design and craftsmanship, particularly within the Scandinavian or modern design space.
Comfortable using HubSpot, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other digital tools for CRM management, data analysis, and remote collaboration.
Willing and able to travel 25-50% of the time to key markets and events in the US and Canada.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
