Responsibilities
Supervising doctoral candidates conducting methodologically sound research
Reviewing capstone project manuscripts
Providing detailed feedback specific to applied research methods
Maintaining communication with candidates to ensure compliance with SOE capstone handbook and university policies

Required
Applicant must have an EdD or PhD in Education.
Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Please attach your required Cover Letter and include the title of the position for which you are applying.
Pastoral reference letter is required, signed by the Pastor from your current church, dated 2023 or 2024, on the church letterhead.
Two professional reference letters required.
Full doctrinal compatibility with Liberty University.
Must demonstrate expertise in qualitative research.
Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills required.
Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills required.
Proficiency in MS Office and Canvas.

Preferred
Established record of research evidenced by intellectual and professional contributions to the field through peer-reviewed publication and conference presentations.
Capstone, dissertation, or thesis mentorship experience.
Experience teaching research methods using online learning platforms (e.g., Canvas).
Ability to work at a pace that will not delay the progress of a doctoral candidate toward timely completion of the doctoral degree.
