Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate Online Student Advisory Board (“OSAB”) events that support and engage the online student community.

Work with Board members and FAU staff to assess student needs and design relevant events and services.

Manage logistics for events, including scheduling, promotion, and tracking participation.

Gather feedback from events to improve future initiatives.

Required

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a minimum of 2.5 GPA.

Must be enrolled in at least one FAU online course for the fall and spring semesters.

Commitment to serving in the role for at least one academic year.

Preferred

Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Comfortable applying or willing to learn a great range of software and technology.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Receptive to feedback and willingness to improve skills.

Experience in event planning or project coordination.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students and staff.

Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
