Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Online Student Advisory Board (“OSAB”) meetings, setting agendas and guiding discussions.

Serve as the primary representative of the OSAB, liaising with FAU’s Online Programs and Student Success office.

Collaborate with other officers to develop and implement Board initiatives that support the online student experience.

Monitor the progress of OSAB projects and ensure alignment with the Board’s mission and goals.

Mentor and support other officers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Responsible for registering OSAB as an official FAU student organization.

Required

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a minimum of 2.5 GPA.

Must be enrolled in at least one FAU online course for the fall and spring semesters.

Commitment to serving in the role for at least one academic year.

Preferred

Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Comfortable applying or willing to learn a great range of software and technology.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Receptive to feedback and willingness to improve skills.

Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations, clubs, or projects.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to foster an inclusive and positive team environment.
