Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for completion of assigned tasks.
Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility.
Maintain facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, and technical proficiency.
Respond to emergencies promptly and perform necessary repairs and replacements.
Review client service request summaries to identify and correct operational problems.
Evaluate vendors and suppliers for quality and competitive pricing.
Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation.
Comply with safety policies and maintain a clean workplace.
Monitor maintenance work by outside contractors.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC.
Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment)
Have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of applicable working experience in building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical.
Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required
Communicates effectively with superiors, peers and subordinates.
Strong Customer Service skills
Strong Interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process.
Preferred
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
