Responsibilities

Performance evaluation and reporting, monitoring implementation of the objectives, documentation of Operating System objectives, creating training documents, preparing regular reports on progress, including successes, challenges and areas for improvement.
Monitor and track progress of KPI’s to measure effectiveness. Use data and analysis to assess current processes and measure performance metrics continuously.
Manage Change and Communication, communicate regularly with stakeholders about progress, successes, and challenges. Develop management strategy to ensure adaptation and participation.
Provide Training, Support and audits, organize and facilitate training sessions, on site audits and ongoing support as needed. Ensure Continuous Improvement methodologies are integrated into the methodology to help identify opportunities and improvements.
Travel to various sites.

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
3+ years of experience leading operational excellence and/or continuous improvement initiatives in a process manufacturing environment or other relevant experience.
Oversee the monitoring and performance evaluation of the US Silica Operating System, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of the system in improving operational processes.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to prepare staff for system changes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
Analyze data and feedback from the new system to identify areas for further improvement and optimization.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives by promoting best practices, methodologies, and a culture of innovation within the organization.
Unshakeable commitment to driving improvements while maintaining high level of stakeholder diplomacy.
Experience leading and training field operations on LEAN methodologies.
Systemic problem solver, with experience implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
Ability to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each.
Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (production, mining, logistics, supply chain, etc.)
Creative and change-oriented Continuous Improvement process skills.
Ability to work with abstract and complex concepts as well as communicate them effectively.
Experience utilizing root cause analysis techniques (fishbone diagram, pareto charts, 5 Whys, etc.)
Advanced communication skills to work in a team environment and lead through influence.
Implementation planning, coaching and facilitation skills.
Ability to work successfully with a broad range of employees ranging from frontline to senior leadership.
Strong Project Management skills.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
Demonstrated skills to organize, direct and lead special projects.
Highly organized and possess planning and time management skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Experience and Skills.

Preferred

Power BI is a Plus.
Proven experience in Continuous Improvement Methodologies is a plus.
Experience with JDE a plus.
Strong background in plant maintenance is a plus.
