Responsibilities

Managing the branch cash vault, serving as the vault custodian, and mastering the bank’s cash forecasting system.

Serving as the branch’s ATM custodian, ensuring it remains stocked, functional, and balanced daily.

Auditing all negotiable instruments, cash drawers, foreign currency, and related logs to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsible for operational components in the branch such as balancing cash errors, filing necessary BSA forms, and ensuring compliance and security.

Staying abreast of compliance and security requirements, and implementing processes to ensure adherence.

Reviewing new account opening documentation, including complex cases, to ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures.

Coaching teller line employees, assisting with problem transactions and customer issues.

Opening deposit accounts, taking loan applications, closing consumer loans, making referrals, handling account maintenance, and processing monetary transactions.

Maintaining safe deposit records, balancing policy and procedure with appropriate judgment, and seeking guidance when needed.

Working independently, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, being an outgoing self-starter, and solving complex problems at the teller line.

Having advanced coaching skills, creating and delivering employee Individual Development Tracker plans, and assisting with writing employee reviews.

Enthusiastic individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be in the ‘customer service’ business are key requirements for this role.

High school diploma or equivalent

4+ years of related job experience required.
