Responsibilities

Add/update order comments critical to carrier communication and service reporting

Gather and interpret carrier capacity information

Monitor automated carrier selection, assignment, rating and tender processes

Monitor carrier pickup and delivery performance

Communicate pickup and/or delivery problems to Suppliers, DC’s , Jobbers

Monitor shipment status information

Monitor EDI transactions and process errors

Manage error handling and exceptions

Resolve service issues related to carrier claims, volumes, on-time performance and automation

Manage detention/demurrage/re-consignment issues

Provide shipment status information to suppliers / DC’s /Jobbers, based on communications with carrier

Communicate delivery or shipment problems to customer, as necessary

Accountable/Commitment-Continuous Improvement Initiatives
