Responsibilities

Collect, validate, and input operational data from internal and external systems into databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Monitor and maintain the quality of operational data by identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring that data meets company standards.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvements. Create regular and ad-hoc reports for management, using data visualization tools or Excel to present findings.

Assist in identifying inefficiencies in data processes and suggest improvements to streamline operations.

Collaborate with the operations team to provide data-driven insights and solutions for operational challenges. Support day-to-day operational activities, including tracking inventory, logistics, and supply chain data.

Maintain and update operational databases, ensuring the data is secure and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Support the integration of new data management tools or systems, ensuring smooth transition and data consistency across platforms.

Train staff on data-related processes, systems, and best practices. Provide ongoing technical support to the team regarding data systems and tools.

Ensure compliance with internal and external data management policies and regulations. Maintain thorough documentation of data-related processes, procedures, and changes.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather, interpret, and report on data. Assist in resolving data-related issues across departments.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience in operations support, data management, or a similar role.

Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or other operational management systems.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros).

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data insights and collaborating with different teams.

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Preferred

Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Familiarity with SQL or database management.

Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
