Responsibilities

Responsible for tracking all stages of new leasing opportunities beginning with credit application.
Monitor the stages of delivery, installation and booking. Facilitate backlog meetings with BG Order Administration and BG Sales.
Prepare and publish the monthly backlog reports.
Responsible for ensuring all lease contracts comply with specific lease classification criteria.
Responsible for ensuring that any modification is acceptable to AF NA as well as the BG. Participate in contract negotiations when necessary.
Work with the Contracts Manager and VP Sales on multiyear, multi-million-dollar lease transactions ensuring all terms and conditions are met throughout the transactions duration.
Responsible for all leasing transactions from the booking stage to end of lease termination.
Ensure that contracts are correctly recorded and tracked in the lease portfolio management system.
Determine the best way to process complex transactions in the lease portfolio management system.
Maintain the established relationship with an external bank.
Coordinate the sale of new transactions.
When necessary, explore additional third-party relationships.
Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Purchase Agreement.
Ensure all past due accounts are pursued for payments.
Negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Ensure that the lease delinquency is the lowest possible and in-line with industry standards.
In addition to a weekly status report, facilitate meetings with the Global Credit and Collections Manager to review the status of any delinquent accounts.
Ensure all lease transactions are accurately added to the leasing system.
Explore the best way to use the system for any new programs.
Participate in the determination of the replacement of the current leasing software.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in operations management, particularly in financing or contract management.
Strong understanding of financing agreements, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to organise and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and provide professional service in a customer (internal & external) oriented environment.
Punctual, accurate, attention for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships both internal and external.
Knowledge of the lease process and documentation
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proficient computer skills. Microsoft word, Excel, and familiarity with Pricing Software and SAP
