Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Provide engineering support to the production team. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure continuous and efficient production.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment. Ensure all machinery is operating at optimal performance and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste. Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operations.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions. Ensure all documents are up-to-date and accessible to relevant personnel.
Manage manufacturing projects from inception to completion. Define project goals, develop project plans, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality control procedures. Ensure team members are knowledgeable and skilled in their respective areas.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits and implement measures to minimize risks.
Work closely with design engineers, production managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on manufacturing goals and requirements. Foster a collaborative and communicative work environment.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control methods.
Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
