Responsibilities
Oversee critical new product introduction projects (NPIs) and own project program and steering committee meetings.
Leverage project management best practices to lead projects successfully through the Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing Phases.
Create project charters, as needed.
Develop, oversee, and maintain project plans to drive the completion of key deliverables and to meet high-level milestones in accordance with the organizational gating process.
Coordinate meetings between applicable departments to facilitate collaboration on project decisions and execution of project deliverables.
Attend meetings with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and contract testing labs (CTL), as needed, to ensure alignment on project timeline, cost, and scope.
Provide regular project updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
Create and monitor project budgets with input from the executive leadership team.
Use project metrics to track and communicate project status.
Facilitate decision resolution and make recommendations for escalation across project teams, sponsors, functional managers, and upper management.
Implement recovery plans as required to maintain progress toward project goals.
Resolve conflict in a constructive manner and make suggestions to address obstacles to ensure project success.
Maintain strong working relationships across departments including Operations, Product Management, Marketing, Quality, Support, and R&D.

Required
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in a technically relevant discipline or commensurate work experience.
3 + years of relevant management or project management experience with a proven track record of successfully driving projects to completion.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving, resolution skills, and team focus.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally throughout an organization, leveraging soft skills to communicate and lead through influence.
Previous experience in directly utilizing project management software (i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
Project management: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Experience in the life science tools and therapeutics space is preferred.
PM certification or training through an accredited program is preferred.
