Responsibilities

Comprehension of Oracle’s value proposition and high-level differentiation of key pillars representing the front and back office

Outpace the competition through innovation by aligning with Product Development and by ensuring teams are early adopters of new product functionality

Strive to make every interaction with our customers an experience by continuously looking for ways for the team to connect, engage, and inspire our customers

Keep apprised of industry trends, opportunities, and challenges to drive the execution of thought leadership

Drive operational excellence by leading the overall SE effort on an opportunity pursuit related to resources, solutions, messaging, strategy, and execution

Leading and often facilitating key demonstration activities such as discoveries, solution planning meetings, dry run/dress rehearsals, and demonstrations

Ensuring that our leading practices are being followed when executing SE activities

Working to elevate risk areas and solution gaps to leadership for a specific opportunity

Programmatically collect feedback to drive continuous improvement

Required

5+ years Solution Engineering experience, and preferable focused on Higher Education industry or industry and project management experience.

Strong technical acumen with proven ability to learn new software quickly.

Experience with APIs, integrations, and data analytics is beneficial.

Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present thought leadership and engage and connect with the audience.

Project Management experience executing in a matrixed environment.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
