Responsibilities

Identify gaps and present solution options to businesses based on functionality in Oracle Financials product and best practices;

Work with the client’s Finance and Accounting functions to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality;

Advise clients on options, risks, and value propositions, including the generation and accuracy of the requirements traceability matrix as well as the Oracle Cloud ERP configuration;

Configure Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the implementation, ensuring that it meets the solution design and aligns with Oracle Cloud ERP recommended best practices;

Manage the solution design, configuration, and implementation, ensuring alignment with the design;

Monitor project scope and escalate issues through appropriate channels as needed;

Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and participate in the execution of such test cases;

Provide support to the testing team and end users during the various test cycles;

Address and resolve test case failures or anomalies.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementation

Thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes

Deep functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, FA)

Functional knowledge of other Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Procurement, Projects, Grants, Core HR, Payroll)

Previous Oracle Cloud ERP implementation experience as a functional consultant, with a minimum of 3 implementations of the modules listed above

Experience leading small teams (2-4 people) and design sessions

Creating requirements and design documentation, as well as the testing strategy and approach

Facilitating and conducting business process workshops, requirement gathering sessions, proof of concept sessions, conference room pilots, system integrated testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Expert knowledge in financial system integration, and overall ERP development, testing and support

Familiarity with project management methodologies and Microsoft Project

Proven ability to manage module scope against the statement of work, address or escalate issues as needed and manage client expectations

Presentation skills, with the ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive level management and influence outcomes
