Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain an Oracle 19c Enterprise Edition database, including development, test, training, pre-production, and production systems.
Establish database storage structures and modify the database as needed to meet evolving application demands.
Plan and execute major Oracle upgrades, coordinating with hosting and development teams to ensure a low-risk upgrade with minimal downtime.
Update design documentation to reflect new software or infrastructure information related to database, operating system, or data exchange with the customer’s application.
Monitor database backup status, conduct database restore tests, and recommend changes as needed to the backup and restore plans.
Proactively monitor database storage and plan for growth as part of an overall capacity management strategy.
Help troubleshoot escalated data quality concerns, applying SQL queries and an understanding of the application workflows to identify potential data anomalies.
Work with business intelligence analysts to support data analysis efforts.

Required
5+ years of experience administering an Oracle database, version 11g or higher.
3+ years of experience supporting a database that is part of a three-tier web application, working closely with development teams.
3+ years’ experience in relational database concepts, logical modeling, and database architecture in a cloud environment.
Experience with performance tuning an Oracle database, and resolving issues related to performance, reliability, and data quality.
US Citizen, willing and able to successfully complete a U.S. Government background investigation
Preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions preferred.
Prior experience with Case Management platforms (i.e. Salesforce, entellitrak, Service Now, etc.)
