Responsibilities
Administer Oracle 19c databases on Exadata, including Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Active Data Guard, focusing on optimal performance, patching, and troubleshooting.
Facilitate migration of Oracle databases to AWS, ensuring efficient configuration and data integrity throughout the process.
Set up and maintain infrastructure for databases across multiple physical and cloud sites, meeting security and compliance standards.
Provide on-call support to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues, manage database refreshes, and support code releases in production, development, test, and disaster recovery environments.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools for database administration, enhancing operational efficiency and automating regular tasks.

Required
8+ years with Oracle databases on Linux, including shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
8+ years administering Oracle 19c with RAC and Active Data Guard on Exadata.
8+ years in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, with experience in database migration and configuration.
8+ years supporting large-scale database environments, with experience in disaster recovery and backup management.
Strong troubleshooting abilities, particularly in high-stakes production environments.
Preferred
Experience with MSSQL Server and EDB PostgreSQL Enterprise databases.
