Responsibilities
Work as a team member to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and their operating systems have high availability and optimum performance.
Involved with the evaluation, installation, implementation, and maintenance of middleware and database products.
Maintain, upgrade, patch, troubleshoot, and tune Oracle EBS production and development systems.
Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle support and other third parties as appropriate.
Assist in establishing policies and procedures regarding performance, optimization, and functionality issues.
Manages all assigned Oracle E-Business Suite and standalone ancillary Oracle RDBMS for operational stability and reliability. This may include troubleshooting, recovery, cloning, patching applications, and database, tuning of the database, software installation and upgrades, resolving database errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization.

Required
5-7 years as Apps DBA with production support experience including Oracle EBS 12.2, and Oracle 19c.
Installation experience with Oracle Linux/RHEL and OS upgrades relating to Oracle EBS.
Cloning Production EBS to Test environments (RAC/Non-RAC) Oracle 19c CDB/PDB.
Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit, and deliver accordingly.
Ability to work productively in a team environment and cooperate with other team members.
Excellent organizational, communications, and team-oriented interpersonal skills with a proactive forward-thinking attitude.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or significantly and directly related work experience.
Preferred
Experience in the manufacturing domain preferred.
Experience with ECC for EBS 12.2 is a plus.
Experience with DMZ (i-modules) for EBS 12.2 is a plus.
Cloud experience relevant to Oracle EBS implementation is a plus.
