Responsibilities
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate recording of asset acquisitions.
Configure Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) and related modules to manage asset lifecycle from procurement to capitalization.
Ensure accurate recording of asset costs, depreciation, and transfers in Oracle ERP.
Oversee the management and tracking of assets using Oracle Fixed Assets and other related modules.
Implement and maintain asset tagging, tracking, and reporting processes.
Manage asset reclassification, transfers, and adjustments in Oracle ERP.
Configure and maintain depreciation methods and schedules in the Oracle system.
Perform periodic reviews to ensure the accuracy of depreciation calculations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to asset depreciation.
Ensure timely and accurate retirement or disposal of assets in Oracle ERP.
Collaborate with accounting teams to verify asset disposals and manage financial impacts.
Generate reports for asset disposal, retirement, and write-offs.
Generate detailed financial reports on asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and retirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and corporate policies for fixed asset management.
Work with auditors to provide asset-related information during audits.
Identify and implement process improvements for asset lifecycle management in Oracle ERP.
Collaborate with IT and Oracle consultants to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Stay updated with Oracle releases and implement system upgrades as needed.

Required
