Responsibilities
Analyze existing PeopleSoft data structures and confirm transformations for Data Warehouse compatibility.
Extract data from PeopleSoft using SQL and other relevant tools.
Create efficient data structures, including expertise in dimensional and entity-relationship (ER) modeling, to support reporting and analytics.
Develop and implement data transformation processes to clean, standardize, and enhance data quality during migration.
Design data mapping documents outlining relationships between source and target data fields.
Develop and implement ETL processes for loading data into the Data Warehouse, ensuring efficient performance and data integrity.
Validate the accuracy and completeness of migrated data post-migration.
Utilize ETL tools to facilitate data integration.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and align with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security protocols, and regulations, including encryption and data masking for PII and HIPAA compliance.
Recommend and analyze the feasibility of cloud-based Data Warehousing solutions.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in data migration, ETL processes, and data integration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration projects, specifically from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based Data Warehouse system.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Extensive experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, and DB2.
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and reporting tools.
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based Data Warehouse solutions, including Oracle FDIP, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
Relevant certifications in data management or ETL tools are highly desirable.
