Responsibilities
Write and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing and reporting needs.
Develop and execute SQL scripts in Oracle Database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Add, modify, and test PL/SQL code to ensure optimal performance and scalability within Oracle DB environments.
Write and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate database tasks, data processing, and other operational processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to review code, address bugs, and implement database enhancements.
Develop clear, concise documentation for database scripts, stored procedures, and other code assets.

Required
Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain database functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences.
High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills for optimizing database scripts and ensuring data accuracy.
Preferred
Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certifications are a plus.
Experience working in a government or defense environment is beneficial.
Understanding of security compliance standards, such as NIST or DoD security protocols.
Ability to read and understand Java code as it pertains to database functionality and integration.
Experience with data mapping for migration or data transformation tasks is a plus.
