Responsibilities
Project Management: Manage multiple projects daily, tracking progress through 21 steps in the process.
System Knowledge: Use TIRKS, CAD programs, Micro station, and Telcordia systems.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Communication: Provide regular updates and manage interactions with various teams.
Environmental Compliance: Support NYC’s Local Law 97 Green initiative by reducing the carbon footprint of central offices and older carrier systems.

Required
In house drafting using MicroStation is a Bonus will be considered first
Strong computer skills including spreadsheets and analysis work
OSP operations and systems: TIRKS, Telcordia systems LFACs, Switch, LEIS
Project Management: Manage multiple projects daily, tracking progress through 21 steps in the process.
System Knowledge: Use TIRKS, CAD programs, Micro station, and Telcordia systems.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Communication: Provide regular updates and manage interactions with various teams.
Environmental Compliance: Support NYC’s Local Law 97 Green initiative by reducing the carbon footprint of central offices and older carrier systems.
Technical Background: Experience with traditional OSP electronics and FTTP.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects and track progress independently.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in modern computer-based systems and tools.
Environmental Focus: Understanding of decommissioning processes and environmental compliance.
Preferred
Preferably with a background in Verizon’s engineering and design systems.
