Responsibilities

Develop and implement processes for Day 1 acceptance of OSP networks, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Lead the technical evaluation and acceptance of new OSP networks, including fiber optic cable systems, conduit systems, and associated infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network turnover and operations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network designs, test reports, and as-built records.
Provide technical guidance and support for Day 2 operations, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of OSP networks.
Work with operations teams to develop and implement processes for ongoing network monitoring, testing, and maintenance.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve OSP network quality and reliability.

Required

8+ years of experience in OSP engineering, network operations, and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of fiber optic technologies, cable design, and network operations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Experience with GIS mapping, CAD design, and other engineering software tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Preferred

Industry certifications such as P.E. license, OSPIE, or CFOT are highly desirable.
