Responsibilities
Finding New Customers: Your goal will be to bring in new business and start strong relationships.
Reaching Sales Goals: You'll follow a sales plan to meet your targets each month, quarter, and year. We’ll help you get there with support and training.
Managing Your Area: You’ll be assigned a territory to cover, which includes visiting clients in person. Your travel will help you understand the area and connect with customers to increase sales.
Learning About Community Solar: We’ll teach you about our community solar products, industry trends, and what makes us stand out. The more you learn, the better you can guide customers in choosing the right solutions.
Keeping Records: You’ll use our company’s CRM system to track your sales activities and be assigned a dedicated administrator to help you keep everything organized.
Working with Others: You’ll work closely with our client service team, and operations. Together, we’ll make sure our clients and prospects have the best experience possible.

Required
Some sales experience is great, and experience working outside of an office is even better
A track record of meeting or beating sales goals (or a strong motivation to learn how)
Great communication and people skills
Self-motivated and able to work on your own
Ready to travel frequently in your assigned area (you’ll need a valid driver’s license)
Basic computer skills and experience using CRM software are helpful
Preferred
Knowledge of the Maine area or connections in the region
