Responsibilities
Drive sales and serve as the trusted advisor to customers to solve engineering challenges.
Manage schedule, book of business, calls, and emails from customers.
Explain how products work and how they solve problems within manufacturing processes.
Build relationships with new customers throughout the assigned territory.
Work out of home office with local travel to existing customers.
Participate in occasional overnight travel for training and meetings.
Spend significant time at headquarters for training and product line immersion.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering/ or technical degree
Technical sales experience
Analytical aptitude and curiosity
Ability to influence others and drive sales
Strong technical communication skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to manage schedule, book of business, calls and emails from customers
Passion for process applications within water/wastewater treatment, environmental or other life-sustaining manufacturing facilities
Enthusiasm for process measurement instrumentation, controls valves, actuators, positioners, gas & flame detection and electrical heat trace
Evidence of personal success in growing/building a business (or similar endeavor)
Preferred
Industrial automation or process industry experience
Experience in a family-owned business environment
