Responsibilities

Proven experience and background in spine and leaf architectures deploying L4-L7 Palo Alto firewall services in an Active/Active PAN cluster deployment across data center fabrics

Solid experience in LAN/WAN topologies as it relates to routing & switching configuration and protocol implementation, network security, segmentation, endpoint policy enforcement, and Intrusion detection

Port Connectivity and layer one troubleshooting

Solid experience and foundation in routing & switching protocols with expert level troubleshooting skills

Proven experience in spanning-tree topology configuration, deployment and troubleshooting and mitigating loops

Firewall rule base & ACL optimization

Understand design & Technical requirements for Micro versus Macro segmentation and Network Segmentation

Firewall Deployment use cases for transparent mode versus routed mode

Firewall defense in depth security architecture to support North to South and East to West Traffic enforcement, endpoint and perimeter considerations

Firewall Identity Management Integration (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass,e.g.)

Firewall Capture and Wireshark PCAP generation for traffic flow analysis

Multi-Vendor Firewall experience (ASA, FTD, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, e.g.)

Multi-Vendor SD-Wan experience (Viptela, Palo Alto, Silverpeak, e.g.)

Ability to take customers’ technical requirements and build project scope with defined deliverables into a final Statement of Work

Conduct design workshops and document challenges with best practices solutions in heterogenous environments
