Paralegal/Case Manager

Responsibilities
Initiating and maintaining client contact on a regular basis with potential clients and retained clients
Investigating each case and analyzing intake information and relevant documents
Explaining procedures and related documentation, such as engagement letters, to clients
Creating and maintaining client and case-related files in case management software
Communicating with the team regarding, among other things, case statuses, filings, docketing and client intakes
Drafting and reviewing routine legal documents
Assisting with various office administrative tasks, such as calendaring and docketing

Required
Bachelor’s degree
Relevant experience as a paralegal or case manager: 3-5 years
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Incredible attention to detail
Ability to multitask while working under deadlines
Self-starter and committed to contributing to clients’ and the Firm’s successes
Manage a large volume of cases at a time
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with legal case management software
Not afraid of new technology and already has a grasp of the basics: Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite and Adobe Acrobat
