Responsibilities
Process accurate and timely bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Ensure all payroll information, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and commissions, is accurately recorded and processed.
Handle new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status (e.g., pay increases, deductions, benefits) in the payroll system.
Manage all payroll-related functions in ADP Workforce Now, including employee data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Ensure all system configurations (e.g., pay schedules, pay types, deductions) are correct and up to date.
Assist with any ADP system-related inquiries or issues from employees or management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Stay current with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate payroll records, including tax filings, deductions, garnishments, and benefits information.
Prepare and review various payroll reports (e.g., tax liabilities, labor costs, employee earnings) for management.
Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 and 1099 preparations.
Reconcile payroll data to general ledger and assist with monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with payroll inquiries, including questions about paychecks, deductions, and benefits.
Provide guidance to employees on using ADP Self-Service Portal for accessing pay stubs, tax forms, and benefits information.
Perform regular audits of payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
Work with internal and external auditors to ensure payroll compliance and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes in ADP Workforce Now.
Support HR and finance teams with payroll-related tasks as needed.
Assist with ad-hoc projects or special payroll initiatives as required by management.

Required
High school diploma required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a payroll administrator or similar role
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (required)
Knowledge of payroll best practices, payroll tax regulations, and wage and hour laws
Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and management
Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues independently
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
Proficiency in other payroll systems is highly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
