Responsibilities

Process U.S. semi-monthly payroll, validate data, reconcile reports, audit records, and maintain compliance with tax filings.
Supporting the organization in managing payroll operations, whether in-house or outsourced, facilitating knowledge transfer, contributing to vendor selection processes, and maintaining compliance throughout any changes in payroll administration.
Oversee benefit onboarding/offboarding, process elections (HSA/FSA), manage COBRA, leaves of absence, and vendor coordination.
Provide support in the analysis of benefits contract negotiations.
Develop wellness initiatives and manage vendor relationships to enhance program success.
Conduct audits for payroll, 401(k), and worker's compensation, ensure HRIS accuracy, and stay updated on legislative changes.
Responsible for the benefit broker relationship (401k and health benefits), benefit administration and open enrollment process.
Act as the main contact for payroll/benefits inquiries, lead onboarding/offboarding, and communicate plan updates effectively.
Administer and support international agreements, ensuring compliance with tax and payroll regulations for expatriates and international employees.
Participate in Compensation and Benefits projects and adapt to additional tasks as needed.

Required

Bachelor's degree or 3-5+ years in U.S. payroll and benefits administration.
Hands on experience processing payroll or benefits with Workday or ADP Workforce Now and other related HR information systems.
Efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
Ability to work independently and part of a team.
Organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Adherence to data privacy policies and keen attention to detail.

Preferred

Payroll certifications such as CPP are a plus but not required.
Experience with US-based pension and benefits programs strongly preferred.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits preferred.
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
