Responsibilities

Manage and process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for U.S. and international employees.

Ensure accurate calculation, reporting, and payment of payroll taxes.

Oversee audit and control procedures to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll records are audit-ready.

Administer SOX controls, ensuring compliance with no deficiencies.

Provide timely, white glove service for employee payroll inquiries.

Continuously improve payroll processes and documentation.

Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Assist with audits and maintain accurate documentation.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field.

5-7 years of payroll management experience, preferably in a global, remote setting.

Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, SOX compliance, and internal controls.

Proven ability to optimize payroll systems with a focus on accuracy.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.

Strong communicator with collaborative, cross-functional team skills.

Self-motivated and able to lead a process independently.

Proficient with payroll software, ideally TriNet or similar platforms.

You reside within the Pacific to Eastern time zones in the United States.

Preferred

International and multi-state payroll experience.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.

Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
