Responsibilities

Processes the entire payroll cycle for United States employees in the Workday Payroll system, including capturing new employees, leaves, terminations, commissions, and any bonus cycles

Maintains employee payroll records and ensure that employee changes are entered correctly, made on a timely basis, and reviewed for proper authorization

Runs audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal processes and policies

Inform the configuration for any state changes and updates in Workday

Works with Finance Team and communicate all payroll changes in a timely manner

Determine payroll liabilities by reviewing the calculation of federal, state, and local taxes

Lead the payroll system testing and implementation for Workday and support all ongoing upgrades and changes within the system

Understand and utilize the payroll system to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness

Show a high level of customer service and the ability to interact with different internal teams

Assist with gathering data for compensation review cycles

Assists in the administration of employee benefit programs including life, disability, and health insurance plans

Supports implementation of HR related projects

Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in payroll

All other duties as assigned
