Responsibilities

Join our team as a Pediatric Hospitalist in a supportive, rural setting with a flexible schedule and a meaningful work-life balance.

Practice Setting: Level 1 Nursery with inpatient and outpatient clinics and a low patient volume, Collaborative environment with skilled nurses, APPs, OBs, general surgeons, and access to pediatric cardiology for echos/EKGs, Predominantly newborn nursery care, with some pediatric inpatient and emergency cases.

Schedule: 24-hour call schedule, Minimal weekend coverage with additional opportunities starting in January, Remote call responsibilities with quick response times only when needed.

Cases and Procedures: Patient panel ranges from newborn through adolescence, Perform essential pediatric procedures with support and resources readily available, Manage newborns, routine pediatric admissions, and stabilize higher-acuity cases for transfer.
